Most people love a bit of chocolate.

Unfortunately, it makes you fat and gives you insulin problems.

However, there is a way around this and given that we are entering the week of chocolate coated sin, here are two AMAZING smoothie recipes to keep you off the sugary fat-filled stuff.

MintChocolateChip

Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream Smoothie – Post workout version

300ml of rice milk
Handful of crushed ice
30-40g of Kinetic Chocolate Whey protein
1 tsp of peppermint extract
1 scoop of Green Life
1 tbs of cacao nibs (for crunch – you can leave this out)

Pour in blender and blend!

Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream Smoothie – Breakfast on the run version

200ml of coconut milk
Handful of crushed ice
30-40g of Kinetic Chocolate Whey protein
1 tsp of peppermint extract
1 scoop of Green Life
1 tbs of cacao nibs (for crunch – you can leave this out)

Pour in blended and blend until thick and creamy!

You can play with the fluids to get the thickness you like.

Alterations:

Alternatively, you can use Kinetica Vanilla Whey Protein, just make sure you add the cacao nibs for the chocolatey flavour.

Or, you can use Kinetic Mint Choc Chip Whey Protein and leave out the peppermint extract.
